I’ve used this drill to mix concrete, stucco, and thinset in a 5 gallon bucket, using a spiral paddle. Originally I thought I’d need to use the plug in power adapter, but the batteries easily kept up with my demand. I like the metal chuck. Powers through wood with auger bits. Big and capable
Great tool with plenty of power but have not used hammer yet. The biggest advantage of the 36-volt tool over my 18s is it does the work with power to spare (does not get hot in the tool or battery during tasks that tax my DS18DBFL). The downside is the size and weight (the weight is good when drilling vertically, up and down but enough that I use my 18s whenever I can get away with it, especially my DS18DDX which was a huge surprise and performs above expectation).
