I looked up reviews and even AI highly recommended Metabo. I bought the Metabo 18 Gauge Narrow Crown Stapler, which retails for $129.00. I started my work late, so when I discovered the issue, Lowes was closed. There was a tension issue that did not allow staples to expel from the unit. I checked the regulator pressure, obstruction, staple size and loading. I made sure not to be agreesive with the magazine. When I open the top, the spring tension was gone. The stapler is an elegant and powerful tool that is making the construction of my anticipated bathroom cabinetry child's play. Disclaimer: Although as easy as child's play the stapler would not be the appropriate choice for school children's class projects.

Fantastic Stapler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is absolutely the stapler you want for doing LP soffit and other small siding trim, as well as other uses. Relative to my pneumatic staplers, this thing practically never bends staples. Upside down, high in the air, who wants a air hose pulling on you? This stapler is the one.

My First

I'm new to crown staples, this one is my first. I've only used it on a few small woodworking products so far, and couldn't be any more happy with this purchase. For myself I couldn't be any more happy. I found it easy to adjust and get setup for use. I'm probably gonna use this for my primary air nailer.

You get what you paid for

Nozzle to control depth stopped working pretty much immediately, we were adjusting depth based on how much our air compressor was charged. Fine for the price

Excellent Stapler

This is a high-quality stapler. It made my shingle job 20 times faster than previous attempts. Hopefully this is a tool that I will have for 10+ years. It seems very, very nice. It would be nice if the case had been molded internally to allow for more storage of staples That is my only complaint which is not a huge deal just a suggestion for the company. Very happy with my purchase.

get the Metabo

I bought this to install a stairway carpet runner, and it will have other uses in the future. If you don't want a staple gun or nail gun that jams or misfires, just get the Metabo. This tool replaced a poor tool from HF that was only a few years old.

Excellent stapler

I’ve had this stapler for a little while now. It is reliable and perfectly suited to the lighter stapling needs in my shop. Adjustments are easy and I have not had it misfire or jam. This is a good buy!
