Quiet, Capable Performer!

My new Metabo air compressor is a most welcome replacement for the compressor that I had previously used for many years to power my air brushes. This new unit very capably drives my airbrushing activities over the broad variety of paints that I use for my projects. The air supply that the Metabo provides is smooth, steady and reliable. And, best of all, this new compressor is quieter than I had imagined would be. I practically have to remind myself that it's actually running! Great machine!

I was amazed with how quiet this compressor was I'm thinking now why did I put up with my other compressor for so many years it was so noisy it would wake up the dead Really recommended It's small and compact but it's strong enough

Metabo HPT air compressor EC28M

This is my second Matabo EC28M. I really like the low level of noise and the portability of this air compressor. I purchased a second unit because I gave the first one to my son who is also enamoured with this product.

shipment failed

product seems good, shipping not so good, FedEx kept in facility 4 weeks passed delivery date. very weird, Lowe's set 2nd shipment thinking first was lost now they have second shipment stuck in same facility. FedEx made me question if I will order from Lowe's again.

Go Out and Buy This

Great little machine. Have just finished replacing all my base-boards, this machine kept up with all my demands. Added bonus - very quiet. Highly recommended.

Great Products

Used the Metabo HPT EC28M for the first time today to inflate a low tire. I did the 10 minute breatin run then closed the tank and let in fill to max psi. Very quiet running, sufficient volume to fill any tire. Runs great, just like my Metabo battery screwdriver.

Watch the gauge faces- full pressure not developed

Overall good compressor with limited capacity. But the pressure gauge inside cards with the pressures printed on them were slightly curved... keeping the pressure needle from actually reaching 125psi tank pressure. Once I realized the needle was physically being stopped by the guage card, i was able to understand that the full pressure was being generated. Good for pumping up car tires and small jobs. I haven't yet tried with a framing nailer or anything more demanding.

Quiet, well built, lightweight, decent price.

I bought a 1-gallon compressor (Husky?) some years back from Home Despot. For $48 it did the job. BUT. It was noisy as heck, and took a long time to come up to pressure. I'm not a contractor anymore, but I would never bring that noisy thing into someone's home. The Metabo HPT EC28M is a whole step above that screaming MiMi of a compressor. Warranty Registration needs upgrade.

Warranty registration online is not up to standard. No confirmation email like Dewalt and other professional companies. Hopefully not an issue if something goes wrong.
