We expected more from Maytag
We've had our Maytag for two years now. The ice dispenser gets frosted up and I need to dump the ice from the container at least every 60-days or it makes horrible noises and Crushes the ice, no matter if you've selected cubes. Normally this is a 10-minute process - hot water into the top and bottom and inside and outside of the container to get all the caked on ice off the moving parts. But today it was double that. Solid product - runs more loudly than anticipated
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Maytag side by side looks great. Has great storage capacity, the ice and water features are great. Two things kept this from getting higher stars - 1) the ice maker bypasses the installed filter and more importantly 2) the condenser and fan run almost constantly. We know they are more energy efficient, but we have noise sensitive family members and the condenser and fan are not as quiet as we hoped.

The layout of shelves is convenient.

When trying to get ice, it’s hard to not hit the water button. You have to get the glass really low. I love the idea of a soft serve area in the freezer, but it’s a little hard to get the container put into it.

Disappointed
We've had this refrigerator less than a year. It's very disappointing. I've had multiple cans of biscuits just pop in the frig. Ice cubes will just fall out every once in awhile. It seems like it runs a lot. I had always had Whirlpool, and I regret this purchase. Plus the shelves can't be adjusted and you can't even stand a two liter bottle up on the top shelf. The freezer area is small and the divided shelf makes zero sense.

Not what the older ones were

Electricity Hog !
I like my double doors. Had this for over 4 months. I purchased this fridge thinking it's will save me electricity vs. my old one (2005 Frigidaire). Boy was I wrong.
