I have owned the new washer for 2 weeks now and it works well and has plenty of capacity.The only thing that I have a problem with is I feel like the agitator should have been taller in the unit.When we load the machine, even though we distribute the load evenly in it.During the wash cycle it allows the load to migrate over the agitator and will get itself out of balance prior to the drain and spin cycle.The unit will then try to correct the uneven load on its own but it never can.We end up havi...

A thankless machine we rely on daily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our washer based on capacity, impeller filter for pet hair and having a sanitize cycle. Pros: the buttons are touch and do not require pressing down to activate, easy self installation, connection to Maytag’s mobile app for registration and receiving cycle complete notifications. Con’s: wish there was a dedicated wash cycle for waterproof material such as bed covers

First week of use.

I had to press it numerous times to get the washer to start up today. My wife says the feedback tones are too loud, would be nice if there were at least one lower volume setting option.

Powerful and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this powerful, efficient washing machine. It s quiet and gets the job done. I hope it last for many years. If I did have a complaint I do feel like the body of the machine is crazy thin metal that will dent very easily.

Both the washer and dryer are easy to operate and quite when on full spin cycle. I could not be happier, don't know why anyone would chose anything other than Maytag for their appliance needs.

Clutch problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sadly, I am on my third Maytag washer since March 2025. The first 2 were the same model. Both had clutch issues. This third model is different with hopes that there would be no issues, however, it appears to be doing the same thing. Clunking sound when it shifts into different cycles. I would like to know if Maytag is getting other calls with this same issue ???

Awesome washer!

It didn’t use a ton of water and was relatively quiet while running. I love the pet feature and will be using it frequently! The washer also looks very luxurious with nice finishes.
