I originally purchased for my own home and it was because of the matte black style. I’m a contractor and after installing and using daily I have since installed two more of them for customers. They are built well yet still very simple to install. I really am impressed with the thick glass, they roll really easy and love the magnetic weather strip to keep them closed. I would highly recommend and will to future customers.

Too complicated, unforgiving and poorly designed
I often do home improvement projects in our house and my kids' houses. The product appeared to be exactly what I needed for my daughter's basement shower. What arrived was exactly what I expected, so no issues there. What I did not expect is how elaborate the installation would be (15 steps!) and how unforgiving the design was to any imperfections (not plumb) of the shower opening. Difficult to learn
I purchased this online as all the reviews gave it high marks. My first impressions are that it will take a long while to figure the controls out. Lots of options, some on the main control wheel and others behind the smoked glass panel… which by the way is very difficult to see. Great doors, but poor instructions
We love our Maxx Outback Shower Doors. They added to our new shower. The instructions could have had the parts label along with better directions. I was able to find videos on YouTube that helped with instructions. We are starting a remodel in a second bath and plan to use the shower doors in that bath also.

It's a great product but installation instructions are really bad. The instructions give you a list of parts but the parts are not labeled or numbered. Since they look very similar in the pictures , its hard to know what goes where. It would have cost me $300 to have someone install it so after watching YouTube videos and thinking on it a couple of weeks , I tackled the project. delivery of shower door
box wasn't damaged. delivery was highly questionable. I paid for the delivery because I'm presently having back issues. I had to unload delivery myself. I have the delivery in my garage to air out. smells of weed. should have saved the $69 dollars and picked it up myself. very disappointed. I guess lowes doesn't care about their image.

Nice, but a tough install
This was our personal bathroom remodel project in an older condo complex. It is a nice shower door, but a difficult install with many parts and some directions not very clear. We got it done, but it took HOURS, and my husband is a building contractor with a journeyman carpentry background. It didn't help that this older condo was out of plumb by about 5/8" top to bottom. I would recommend the Delta Shower Door that looks exactly like this one, but seems to have good video instructions.

Poor design, terrible instructions
Installed several shower panels and doors with no problems. I am a licensed builder and I waisted almost an entire day on installing this shower door. The instructions cover only having the sliding panel on the right side but do not specify how to install the sliding panel on the left side. The instructions do tell you the door can be used on both sides which is incorrect. Once you put the sliding panel on the left side the design is no longer functional.
