Love these light switches. I have them for 4 different fans. They are easy to install, very responsive using the wall switch or the app. Only works with an AC powered fan and the remotes that come with the fan won't work with these so keep that in mind if you want a separate switch.

Works with Hunter Gallegos Fan

This switch is great and works with the Hunter Gallegos Fan (Hunter #51583). This fan comes with its own analog dial wall control so I thought that it would work with the fan. There is a slight hum on startup and at full speed, but I think that is just because it is an AC fan. The fan has an AC WhisperWind motor and no remote control, which is what you're looking for. Very disappointed I never thought i'd have to wright a bad review on a Lutron product. I've had Lutron dimmers, Timers, Fan controls in my homes for years. I've been upgrading my switches to Lutron Caseta Wireless for the past couple of years (25+) and this switch was a perfect addition to my smart home configuration. Nice switch but be careful of the sharp corners.

Positive: For the first time, I can control the fan from the wall rather than the pull chain. I will also be able to buy a remote control that I can place by my bed. Negative: After I installed it, I noticed that the sharp metal corners of the switch had removed the color on my wallpaper while I was trying to get all the wires connected and back in the electrical box. These types of switches are great and convenient

I bought this as an add-on for my dining room. We have these kinds of switches for other fans in our house along with our lights as well. It is very convenient when all you have to do is tell Siri hey Siri turn on the fan in the Living Room to anywhere from 10 to 100%. Works very very well and we are really pleased with these kinds of switches to control our lights and fans.

I have been changing out the switches in my home for Lutron products and this is a great match for fan use. Will buy for the reminder of my fan switches.
