Read Before Modifying Cabinetry/ Specs Wrong

We spent hundreds of dollars to have our surrounding cabinetry modified to fit this fridge, leaving the required recommended breathing space according to the 35 3/4" width stated n the owner's manual. Refrigerator thermostat issues

I’ve had my French door LG refrigerator for a year now and while I generally like its style and layout, I have had thermostat issues in the refrigerator section, which have not been resolved. Th fridge part runs very cold despite guidance on the temperature settings, troubleshooting and a service call. It is very frustrating and can’t really recommend this model from my experience.

Spacious and well designed

We’ve had this for about a month. So far, it’s been great. Very spacious interior, well designed. Temperature remains steady in the fridge, food stays fresh for a long time. The freezer works well too. Things stay at a constant temperature in the freezer. There’s a good amount of room in the freezer even though that’s where the ice is. There’s more than enough ice for our 2 person family. The unit is very quiet. The only noise it makes is when it’s dispensing ice and then refilling with water.

Flimsy, doors do not close properly. Food is freezing on the top shelf. Installers or incompetent. One of the doors does not sit flush, either bent or problem with the hinge. I installed a new gasket sent by lg, which did nothing to resolve the issue. Now I'm being told to set the fridge at 41°, which seems ridiculous. Large capacity for counter depth.

This refrigerator does not quite equal the interior build quality of the Kitchen Aid that it replaces, but the extra 5 c. ft. of storage is worth it. Also, it's placed flush to the cabinets. Good looking refrigerator with thermostat issues

I like the design of the refrigerator and the ice making component. I am having persistent issues however with the temperature of the refrigerator section, which runs too cold and does not match the digital temps that I set. I have had a service call that did not resolve it. The fridge is not freezing items but it consistently has readings just above 32 despite what I set the temps at. I am living with it now but it is not ideal.

Great overall but looks fantastic!

We purchased the unit without handles. It looks really great and fits into the space perfectly. Actually looks like a built in fridge. Finger prints do unfortunately show up but they are easily wiped and not as bad some other fridges I've seen. Since I came from using a fridge that had a door at the top for the fridge and a door below for the freezer, this configuration is taking some getting used to. Great, sleek option for remodel or tight space.

We LOVE this counter depth fridge. The handle-less doors are sleek and easy to clean. We swapped it for the oldest, largest, heaviest fridge known to man that was left behind by the previous owner. The capacity of this fridge is great and we haven't noticed any issues downgrading overall capacity yet. Great appliances if they work

Had issues with the craft ice maker. LG service is a joke. Then they ask me to rate them. Someone is getting paid a lot of money for very little work.
