Let Down
Within 40 hours of delivery and only 3 regular loads of laundry, the drum is noticeably rubbing the door seal and destroying it. I called LG customer service who asked me to send photos of damage. I was told to run a tub clean cycle to clear the paper from the washer, but There isn’t any paper in the washer only debris from the seal being rubbed off. After multiple photos and no help from LG customer service, I called Lowe’s who notified me that I was within the return window. I purchased a ...

Great capacity and spinning and time usage
Even big enough to wash a comforter. Senses size and weight of load, so doesn't use more time & electricty than necessary. Spins dry enough that less dryer time will be needed.

I bought this as a replacement for a 4-year-old mid-level LG washer. I've only had it for a week or so, but I like it. I also bought the SideKick pedestal and I'm enjoying the functionality of two washing machines.

Better than the Maytag
So far (after 2 weeks) we've been very pleased with it. It replaced a similarly priced top-loader Maytag that died after 6 years. This is our first front-loader. Seems to clean better than the Maytag and is not as tough on laundry (the Maytag was very harsh on towels especially). I'm a little concerned that the maintenance for a front-loader may be more than I am used to, but we will see.

Defective washer; defective customer service
The first time we used our brand new washer, it shook uncontrollably, made an incredible racket and threatened to throw the dryer onto the floor. Lowes referred us to LG customer care; said there was nothing they could do since the machine is under warranty. After doing MANY rounds with LG's online chat help, eventually spoke o a customer service rep. Worst installation service from Lowe's
Listen up people, don't expect a decent and basic installation service form Lowe's. They don't have a clue about how to connect hot and cold lines to a washer; they can't do a simple job. It was not like that before, but it looks like Lowe's service went downhill.

Leaves clothes dirty
Really disappointed with this washer. You have to understand how this washer works. It puts only enough water in the drum to get the clothes wet and not enough to submerge the clothes at all. You can look in through the glass front with a flashlight during any wash cycle and you will see that the bottom of the drum is virtually dry (see image). I liken it to taking a pile of clothes - hosing them down lightly then flipping them over more hosing - more flipping - repeat many times - no act...
