Good sale price from Lowe's, and their 3rd-party installation contractor arrived on time & handled the pedestal set-up and washer/dryer placement with all due caution, but did not follow LG's assembly & installation instructions on how to properly mount & secure the washer & dryer to their pedestals, nor did they adjust the washer & dryer feet after final placement to ensure everything was level &...
Detergent on the bottom??
So I did not purchase this washer. I did not purchase d/t the detergent cartridge being on the bottom at floor level. Not sure who came up with that design but this is my reason for not going with this model. Also bc your only option is liquid detergent unless you want to add to the tub. There should be a tray to add powder detergent for the machine to rinse in at the appropriate time. I did buy another LG model.

If you have dogs this is the machine!
I have 4 high shedding Great Danes. My last top loading Maytag kept breaking as no access to filter to clean out the trapped dog hair. I threw it away after 4 years. This machine cleans so much better and the easy access drain and filter, if you wash rugs with trapped dog hair, is brilliant! Loads customizable if light or heavy cleaning needed as well as water temp and spin intensity. Have had 4 months and am very happy. Also have the matching dryer and no complaints.
