Disappointment / Buyer Beware

I’m writing this review after using the fridge for a month. If I would have known then, what I know now, I would’ve never purchased this unit. The fridge itself works fine. The freezer works fine. The pros. It looks good. It keeps stuff cold and the door in door is way more useful than you think it would be. Short life, Horrific customer service

My wife and I have been without a working refrigerator for 6 weeks now, going on 7 weeks. Our original LG side by side refrigerator failed after 5 months. 3 weeks later service man was unable to repair it. LG said they would replace it. Ice machine is absolutely horrible

We have had nothing but issues with this fridge and its ice machine. First, it doesn’t let you manually pull out ice without completely removing the ice bucket contraption. That would be fine if the ice dispensing portion worked, but it constantly gets blocked, ice freezes inside of the chute, or the ice machine itself gets stuck churning out ice and causes blockages of huge balls of ice. DO NOT BUY

Our fridge is only 2 1/2 years old. The ice maker leaks water out the dispenser all the time. We noticed that we were losing food quickly that was placed in the bottom drawer of the fridge about 3-4 months ago, but the rest seemed fine. Now the fridge nor freezer cool at all.

Great looking , easy cleaning

I have had other LG Refrigerator/Freezers. My last one had a door- in -door but a different type of configuration. I like this one better. Not having handles really makes the kitchen feel more spacious. The stainless steel is one where you don't need the special cleaners or treated cloths. Great with some design flaws

No deli drawer. We used the one from our Maytag that died and thankfully that worked fine. The fridge and freezer drawers can't be pulled out from the top. I bought some handles to stick on but they won't stay put on the freezer drawer. LG what were you thinking? You should let families test your your products before finalizing designs. It looks nice. Poorly designed. Hardly makes any ice. To open drawers in frig or freezer, have to pull from the bottom of the drawers. That doesn't make sense at all. I had the older version and the extra refrigerator door was much better designed. This one if you don't close the door hard it doesn't close.
