Died as soon as the warranty was up
Okay while it lasted. The freezer stopped working less than six years after we bought it, but just over five years so that the warranty nor the extended warranty covered the problem. Love the viewing window, but it only holds a small amount of ice. The inner part of the viewing door was staring to come apart as well. Will not be buying another LG appliance.

My LG refrigerator completely stopped working and I have opened a repair request on August 15th 2024 and the only available appointment was on Aug20th. I planned my day to receive the technician but he didnt show up. I raised a complaint to LG Customer Service on the same day but they told I need to wait for the technician to contact me. Lots of nice features. Unfortunately, some basic ones are missing, like an alarm and/or an error code when the unit fails. The display shows only the temperature setpoints for the freezer and fridge compartments, not the actual temperatures (like every other thermostat in the world). Ice Maker Subpar at best
Icemaker distributes unevenly creating a roadblock to filling the ice compartment. This issue creates little to no ice in the compartment at any given time. The fix is a manual fix where the owner must open ice maker door bang the roadblock if ice down into the ice compartment holder and hit the on and off button so the freezer understands it’s time to make ice again now the the roadblock has been distributed correctly.
