Look at the drawers, shelves and door shelves.

We didn't have much time to shop around since our current refrigerator was dead. We mainly bought this because we wanted the largest one possible. The shelving isn't the best because if you have more than two drink-sized containers, you can't use the door. The way the shelving is laid out, there aren't many options for moving things around. Updated review water supply line caution.

Updated review. After changing two water filters and getting ready to file a warranty claim with LG about the water tasting horrible. The LG rep insisted we change the line to a PEX hose. Turns out the Eastman hose that Lowes sells as a kit for this is not PEX material (its PVC hose material) and for some reason is not compatible with this fridge and made our water taste horrible like drinking out of a garden hose. New PEX supply line has changed this and now we consider the fridge a 4 star. Jus...

Water tastes bad, makes no ice.

I like the layout and look of the refrigerator. It has two icemakers. The top one doesn't make very much ice and the bottom icemaker is a joke. It makes craft ice balls, but it is crazy slow. I have it on it's highest setting, 6 ice balls a day. If you use alot of ice don't buy this! The water that comes out of the door tastes horrible, like a rubber hose. It's not my supply line, old fridge tastes great. I saw this in other reviews and should have listened.

Broken before we even got food in it!

We went with LG because of the great reviews on their products. It arrived on time, sadly with some dings in the back. We decided to accept delivery because the dings could not be seen AND we needed a fridge!!! We made sure it was all up and running before the delivery guys left, or so we thought. Love the extra size in both the refrigerator and freezer. There are also plenty of storage bins in the doors.

Ice and Water taste like plastic garden hose

We purchased this LG unit to replace a 20 year old GE. Overall the functionality is OK but the Ice and Water taste makes us want to let it go after 6.5 months. Water & Ice tastes terrible, it is better to drink water out of sink so an RO system won't help. Its a shame as it seems to be a decent unit but we thought the taste was only due to it being new. Overpriced refrigerator

Does this refrigerator keep things cold? Yes Aside from that, I'm shocked that this thing has such a large amount of high reviews. I wish I would've listened to the one reviewer who said the ice makers are extremely slow and the one only makes a max of 6 ice balls a day! They were 100% truthful!
