I’m being judged by my fridge

I just brought home this sleek stainless steel LG counter-depth fridge and I’m pretty sure it’s judging my grocery habits. It’s so beautiful I almost feel bad filling it with leftover takeout and expired condiments. Almost. The counter-depth design means it doesn’t stick out like my last fridge that tried to annex the entire kitchen. Adequate, but suboptimal.

We were in a pinch, because our refrigerator suddenly failed without warning & therefore had to find something ASAP. Unfortunately, the refrigerator model at Lowes that was on display that we wanted was NOT in stock nor available EVER again - so why it was on display I don't know. Issue with freezing in refrigerator

I bought the LG refrigerator at the end of June. I like everything about it except water on the top shelf of the refrigerator freezes about 1/4" - 1/2" at night. I have turned the temperature up as high as is allowed to 43 degrees and this problem persists. Fortunately, I have not had anything else on the top shelf freeze such as strawberries or eggs. The temperature of the items in the refrigerator are colder than necessary and I am concerned that we are expending extra money to keep it colder ...

40 degrees refrigerator temp

We bought this refrigerator less than a year ago. It has worked great until recently I got a warning the refrigerator temperature was too high. Technician came to service the refrigerator and the temperature will not get below 40 degrees which is not food safe.

I just recently purchased this refrigerator and am really pleased with my choice! I reviewed many different brands and sizes and LG was my first choice. All features are as shown and there is plenty of room. Best choice all around!

Plenty of room

The refrigerator itself is amazing so bright and open and a lot of room. My only complaint and to us it’s a big one is that the ice maker makes very little ice each day. It’s hot out and there is 4 of us and hardly get enough ice for the day.

great value

I was happy to find a 25+ cu. ft. fridge for under $1600, I gave it 4 stars because there are a few issues that are minor. This LG fridge (French door/bottom freezer) has enough room in the fridge and freezer, the shelves on the door are roomy. I love the "Counter Depth Max", not longer sticks so far out from cabinets. I do not like that the shelves can only be adjusted to preset side supports. I cannot put anything tall (like my Brita pitcher) on any of the shelves, I have to put it on the door...

Dimensions

Be aware there is a 1/2” electrical cord that comes out of the top of this fridge and is not factored into the height dimensions for the top of the case. The delivery driver shoved this fridge into place, pinching and stripping the electrical cord between the top of the fridge and the bottom of the cabinets. Horrible design if you have a tight space and measured perfectly. Returned and purchased a different brand. Terrible customer service from Lowes in the process.
