Bought this LG washer a couple weeks ago. PROS: Shorter reach for clothes to remove. MUCH MUCH Quieter! Impeller instead of agitator and uses less water usage also a plus. CONS: there seems to be no way to just fill the bleach, as it just pours thru...I think, and my other LG would hold said bleach in a little part of the machine, then distribute as needed. Water levels are not reliable, and other things

Would Not Recommend

It goes off balance frequently with just 2 twin sheets. Then it fills almost to the top. The water sensor is not very reliable most cycles. Wouldn't buy again.

Fails to clean clothes

Even with a deep wash cycle there are spots on the clothes do not get wet. The washer is not overloaded. If fact, I underload since a full load would result in clothes not getting wet or cleanThe most ineffective washer I have ever owned. Even though the washer is less that 6 months old I am going to get it replaced.

Leaves residue all over the drum and clothes

Got this on Aug 8th, 3 days ago and followed the directions for the first use. I noticed when it finished that it has a weird residue all over the drum. Did a load of clothes and they felt funny and so did my hands after. So I did a rinse and spin which didn’t help. Same thing tonight and the drum had streaks of whatever it is especially around the top of the drum. I know not to use a lot of detergent and no or very little fabric softener. Guess I will call LG and see what they can do

It's large and does the job

I did a lot of research before buying this. My wife had significant trepidations when I told her we had to set the delicate cycle via the app. She's not that tech savvy so I did it for her and she's OK with it. I thought for a bit she'd want me to take it back because it was a bit complicated. When I explained that probably all the new high-end washers are exactly like this she said OK.
