I have had this washer 2 days and so far, it sucks. This washer consistently does NOT fill with enough water. In fact, with the last 2 regular/small loads, the water level was so low, I could not even see the water, yet it was "washing" i.e. agitating. I have had to use the “Deep Fill” setting to get it to cover the clothes with water. But, then it used much more water than needed for those “regular” loads, so it is wasting water. Cheaply Made Washing Machine
I purchased a LG washing machine Model WT8405CB about 13 months ago. It’s a top loader. It started breaking apart from the door where it fits off into the washing machine at. Pieces are just breaking off in the washing machine. The machine is not made of anything. You have to be careful how you handle it. Pieces appear to be still breaking off till this day. I just don’t understand it. It should be a lawsuit with the way pieces are just breaking off. Cheaply Made Products by LG!!

HORRIBLE MACHINE
I got the set delivered and the washer was making a horrible grinding noise so I had a replacement washer delivered and guess what?? The same horrible grinding noise. There is no way this noise is normal and considered acceptable. I also had an LG dishwasher coming but canceled that and returned my LG washer and dryer. I ordered all new appliances and switched to GE so fingers crossed. Horrible experience but I’m thankful Lowes made it right.

AGITATOR WITH DEEP WATER CLEAN
NOTHING beats an agitator! Make sure the washer you pick has an actual AGITATOR not a worthless “Impeller”. The impeller type only works by rubbing your clothes together in a small amount of water, but this only works on cotton not synthetic fabrics like most are today. Worst washer ever owned so take reviews with a HUGE grain of salt. The auto balance feature is 100% USELESS Never use Normal cuz its a Democratic feature to use a cup of water so they can fill their pools. The auto-balance feature only wastes time and electricity, Useless. Only solution I found is to distribute the clothing evenly YOURSELF and run with max water so clothing can float and I even add a gallon of water so the clothes float. worst washer I ever purchased.
This product was recommended by the salesperson based on my needs. I had a front loader and because of mold build up, I decided to go with this option; big mistake. I cannot see the operational buttons without a bright light because of poorly designed black face, there is no gentle cycle, every wash there is residue left behind and the tub does not drain on every wash. The window to find out how poorly made this washer and return it, is also problematic. Regrettable and EXPENSIVE purchase.

Does not have soak cycle
The product page description said 'soal cycle - yes' but machine does not have a soak cycle nor the capabilities of one. This is one of the features we filtered by and confirmed was on the page before purchase. After installation having trouble finding or figuring out the soak cycle came to the QA section of the page as we looked online and someone had asked and was answered that it does not in fact have one.
Very pathetic service
Driver come to my house for the delivery and installation and for which I already paid the installation and haul away fees. He refused to take out the washer from my house and left my new washer outside in open area. When I reached to customer service they asked me to schedule again. I already took off from my office. And Now I am left unattended with my washer outside.
