Over complicated
I regret this purchase. What ever happened to putting close in a machine pushing a button and getting what you want? These constantly give error codes for everything you can imagine. Unnecessary, stops wash and dry cycle for things like, uneven load, or vent obstruction. Sucks to find your cloths aren't ready at all times. Leakage
At first, we absolutely love the machine and then it began to leak from the bottom. Had someone come out to service it and suggested that we do a tub clean which we do weekly it did not fix the problem nor can we get somebody to come out to fix the problem.

Defective machine
This machine was installed incorrectly and then began showing error messages after 2 weeks. LG and Lowe's both refuse to refund or exchange the machine. LG referred us to a local mechanic who told us they needed to order parts (no one has come to look at the machine). We are still waiting for a repair after 3 weeks and cannot use the machine. Defective appliance, faulty installation and terrible customer service. Do NOT recommend.
Broke in 13 days - can't get repaired or replaced
13 days after delivery, the rubber door gasket on this unit ripped/tore causing soapy water to leak down the front of the unit with no warning signal or automatic shut off. I should mention that I am blind which I unveiled to everyone each step of the way during this issue. You can't get in touch with LG in any way, but their "hired" customer service company ordered a part and scheduled a technician to come out TWO WEEKS LATER. Did they tell me how to drain the excess water from the washer? NO!...

Poor washing performance, not DIY maintainable
High maintenance laundry days and poor cleaning overall. When the machine was brand new the only issue was figuring out which cycles could get enough water in the machine to actually clean. We are fastidious about care for the machine - gasket wiped down every single time, door left wide open, running tub clean on a regular routine, cleaning the filter, using HE detergent carefully measured and borax in with the clothes. Well, its beautiful, sleek, and oh so quiet. But least than 2 weeks in my home and its leaking. Worst than that LG is trying to gaslight me and convince me that I'm the reason its leaking. So save yourself some trouble and not buy it.

Although Lowe's offered delivery/installation service, my experience with them was anything but frustrating. Appliances were delivered on 7/3, but were unable to be hauled upstairs bc delivery men did not have straps to carry them upstairs. Delivery was exceptional
I just want to say the delivery of my new washer and dryer and removal of old ones was excellent. There speed of getting the items after my purchase was very fast and the delivery itself went great! Lowes keeps you informed about the upcoming delivery with text messages updating the time window they will be arriving through out the process. LG Washer and Dryer
Washer shakes so violently that it smashed my hand up against the dryer when it was on spin cycle and the gears inside of it sounds like they’re grinding so loud you can’t even hear yourself talk and then we tried to contact customer service in Carlsbad and they’ve been giving us the runaround. so much for being a gold member.
