Do Not Buy LG!
I purchased this washing machine a week ago. It worked fine for about 3 days. Then for some reason it would not "power on". No lights, no sound, nothing. I called LG customer service and they said to try a hard reset but that didn't work. I checked the power outlets and the breakers and no issues there. I purchased this 2 years ago. It has always worked as designed. We religiously cleaned it at least one a month with cleaning tablets. About a year old it started depositing gunk on the clothes. Major debris on clothes. I do not recommend.
After a year or so started getting debris on clothes.(Always ran "Tub clean") During tub clean, the amount of debris is horrible. Fast forward a year, and unit is unusable. Ran 15 straight tub clean cycles,and it seems to get worse. Im a handy man,and was not able to get the impeller off to clean....I think factoring in the low water amount attributed to this? so far this washing machine is great
Installing this machine was straightforward and simple. Only had it a couple weeks, but it’s been handling laundry loads well, and it runs much quieter than the old one. Not too keen on the ThinQ app, but it’s not required for anything yet. Overall, it was a worthy replacement for the old washer.

I got this machine to replace a 30-year old washing machine (which was still working, but the dryer quit, so I replaced both.) I like the machine. I had a 16 yr old LG with a huge 4.8 tub but no agitator. It took me a while to get use too but I enjoyed washing larger loads. I was worried this 4.3 would be too small but honestly it seems bigger and the agitator is a lot smaller than the ones I had 20+ years ago. This washing machine replaced an LG that was a lot larger (4.8) with an impeller (no agitator). I loved my old LG so much and hated to see it go but this new one is just as good, maybe better! Terrible
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gets clothes clean, but after 6 months all the words starting rubbing off the machine (they are not covered under the warranty). In addition, it must be terribly filthy already because it has been getting brown stuff all over my clothes. I have had to run the clean cycle at least 3 times. Not happy with my washer
The agitation is minimal it feels like clothes are not even washed, only rinsed and even then the agitator does not rinse enough. I have treated stains on the clothes previously and the stains are minimally washed, even after washing the clothes twice in a different cycle.
