I have a 75 year old house that needed recessed lights in the living room. I admit, my walls and ceiling are extremely tough. The ceiling is 3/4 inch with a layer of cement over a layer of plaster. That is how they sold wall panels back then. The walls are the same but thicker. Using a regular drill will become instantly dull. Dull after one use

Used to cut a vent hole in my roof. I removed all but one layer of shingles in the area. The single layer of shingle dulled the blades to the point that it took me close to ten minutes to cut a whole through the plywood beneath. If I hadn’t been trying to finish the job before the sun set, I would have stopped and tried to return it or bought a different brand.

Didn't last long

I purchased this item to bore a hole for a dryer vent in my daughter's house. Turned out I didn't need it and was able to use an existing hole. I used it on my house recently when I bought a new dryer and moved the vent location. I went to use it again today, and it is so dull it would hardly bore through 1/4 plywood. Waste of $30.

Quality sharp, Time saver

Perfect size for the installation of recessed lighting in my remodeling project. I didn't realize I needed an arbor to attach to my drill at the time of purchase.

I go out of my way to buy Lenox hole saws.

Lenox Is the only hole saw I’ll buy to work on my steel frame tiny house. They last MUCH longer & have a readily available wide range of sizes.

Cuts well through drywall

Used it to cut a hole in ceiling through drywall. Must run it in reverse though. Whole came out perfect.

Smooth Cutting 5/8” Drywall

Installing 8 pot lights in den 5/8” drywall ceiling was very easy using this 4-1/4” hole saw. For all 8 holes it only took 20 minutes. Very smooth cut.

Doesn't come with an arbor.

Worked as it should, only have used once (relocated a dryer vent). Very expensive! Perfect size for 4inch vent pipe.

Lost all its teeth first hole !!

Soft teeth that couldn’t cut through DRYWALL ! A very light sand finish and it ground the teeth smooth on the first hole .

Perfect cut.

The blade is sharp and strong. Used to make holes in ceiling for new lights.
