The manufacturer doesn't know what a right/left hand swing is. The picture lists the left hand swing with the hinges on the right and the right hand swing with the hinges on the left. This is not correct. The standard is reversed. Look it up on google. Because of this error, you will always get the wrong door if you have the employees at Lowes order it for you. Disappointing Quality for the Price

I've purchased four of these Larson Platinum Security Doors, so I'd consider myself an informed customer. Two of the doors have begun rusting after just one year of use, and one has a door closure that has already broken, causing the door to slam shut. To make matters worse, the warranty conveniently expires at the one-year mark, leaving me on the hook for a $200 replacement closure out of pocket. We love the screen door, but hate the threshold. The threshold is 5 pieces and looks horrible. This is a very expensive screen door and shouldn’t have a threshold that looks so unexceptable.

Testing patience.

I ordered this door on 4/17/26 along with another custom double screen door. Both arrived to be installed on 6/6/26, 7 week after ordering. Both door were damaged. Lowe’s solution was to cancel the order then reorder. They required my card to be refunded then charged my card again. The total for both doors including installation was $2,900. It will take 7 to 10 days for my money to be refunded so in the mean time I have more money tied up due to Lowe’s funky way of handling the order. I’m assumi...

We’ve had this door for over a year now, and it’s honestly one of the best purchases we’ve made! It looks great, feels extremely secure, and the quality is amazing. The heavy-duty screen is built very well and has held up perfectly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish security door!

I really like this screen door mainly for security and it has a elegance to the eye and beauty after the install. The inside delivers a complete view of the outside with no obstructions and you are virtually invisible from the outside, completely unseen, just love that feature. This is really a beautiful screen door and nice addition to our newly purchased exterior as well

Delivered the wrong door

I ordered a left hinge door and they delivered a right hinge door. They are not apologetic for their mistake and are making very little effort to fix it. Very poor customer service.

Stainless Steel Screen Rusting After Just a Year

I purchased a Larson Premium Screen Door from Lowe’s a little over a year ago, and I’m very disappointed with the quality. The screen, which is advertised as stainless steel, has already started rusting. For a product marketed as premium and rust-resistant, this is completely unacceptable. Highly rated for security and looks great!

A friend help install this security door on the exterior of my front door. It looks great! I really appreciate the security features, which make it one of the most secure security doors. I also appreciated how well this item was packaged by Larsen and included all necessary items except for the leverset.

Good Door, Closer Way Too Strong, Horrible Install

Last August (2022) we made a $1,261.34 purchase at Lowes Salinas store that included installation. This well-made security door comes in an aluminum frame, and it must be square and plumb with the existing exterior door jamb or it will not close and latch properly. Unfortunately, the installer did not do this, and the door does not close nor is the door square or plumb with the aluminum door jamb.
