Must drill oversize pilot holes to install in wood
I purchased a Juno Dummy knob to match existing knobs in a room. And all I have to say is that the Juno series mounting design horrible. Since the knobs are not removable, the instructions imply that a screwdriver can go straight in to engage the screw. Fat chance on that (reference my attached picture). Since it requires you to tighten the screws at an angle there is absolutely no ability to tighten the screw without camming out the screw (unless you drill a vastly oversize pilot hole. At least...

Barely better than builder grade.
I purchased this just so it would match with the rest of the door knobs around my house. I like how I can easily rekey the locks on this line/brand of door knobs. If I could go back I would buy a different brand, the kwikset knobs do not seem like they hold up well. In 6 years I have had to replace 3 of the knobs, they literally broke in half or just stopped locking one day. Eventually I will change to a better brand.

Good features but spotty assembly quality
These knobs are easy to install, and the "SmartKey" feature is great ... rekeying the lock takes just a couple of seconds using the tool that's included in each package. If you're installing more than one doorknob and want them keyed alike, you can also look for matching numbers on the bottom of the packages. You may be able to find up to four individual packages that are all keyed alike in one display box on the shelf. You won't have to re-key, and you'll get two more matching keys for each ...

The rekey function is superb
Easily the quickest and easiest doorknob install I have ever done. Looks great and the rekey function is super handy. I have a door that several different people has a key to and di not want to go through the hassle of giving them all a new key. This worked perfectly.

Bought today. I consider myself handy and can do or fix anything. Installing this Juno Kwikset security knob was difficult. The outside knob must mate with the inside knob and then the two longer screws attach it together. 1. Screws are undersized in length and diameter for this job. 2. The alignment for starting to thread the screws is close to impossible on first 10 attempts. 3. Some engineer should try it. If one screw is stared the other is hard to align with the reception hole.
