Been looking at reviews. First, most people have no problems. Few have difficulty installing but in my experience that can be from a number of reasons. Most of which is how the door knob and deadbolt holes were drilled. I've encountered a few very old doors that don't comply with standards of size and location. Rusting

Works good but rusting in two years. Surprised that an exterior door lock would rust, especially that fast.

Buyer Beware

I purchased 6 sets of these locks. Within just a couple of months one of the door knobs could not be unlocked. Kwikset replaced the knob but I had to remove it in the meantime and fortunately had a spare knob to replace it with. Today I decided to test the key on a few of the knobs/deadbolts that have mainly just been locked/unlocked from the inside. Great Lock Combo

Smart lock works great

I bought it because I wanted to have deadbolts and knob locks on all doors with the same key. The Smart lock allowed me to set all locks to one set of keys. If your door uses the old collar type cylinder on the dead bolt - you will need to call Kwikset to have them send it to you. Instructions do not mention this so you have to find out by calling. Mixed bag

Nice lock set, with two problems: Design - screw heads that secure the Juno handset are two small, they can slip through the handset screw holes at certain angles. Thus, if the screws loosen, the handset may work free of the screw head attachments with use. Parts - no drive-in collar provided for the deadbolt latch. Thus, you have to mortise the latch plate. NOT QUICK AND EASY. Cheap-out by Kwikset!

Kwikset Smart Locks

What a great product! Over the years I've changed an awful lot of locks. On this house I changed six entry door and six dead blot locks. ( and six bedroom and nine closet locks) of course all of the outside locks had to be keyed alike. I read up on the Smart lock system and decided to try them. The first conversion took about 30 seconds making sure I did it correctly. From then on I could rekey a lock in ten seconds or less! Super nice system and high quality locks. Easy replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to replace original home door locksets. The SmartKey feature allows using any set of keys on all the doors. Plus it is only changeable if you have the correct keys. This will be a selling point when selling the home. The deadbolt inside knob sometimes turns too easy.
