Broken locking mechanism

Seems solid and is substantial, not flimsy. However, the locking mechanism in one of the three that I bought, doesn't work. It is malfunctioning and I will have to return it.

NICE HEAVY DOOR HANDLES

Nice heavy door handles. The positioning of the screws was nice because I didn't have to twist the handle to tighten either of the screws which I normally have to do with at least one of them. Quick and easy to install.

Not as good as 20+ years ago.

Some of us don't necessarily WANT to HAVE to open the instructions on our phones. There are occasions where that isn't feasible. Other 'issue' is now I have to drill a hole into the door so the lock can fit just a little further back, otherwise the handle only goes down part way - it opens the door, but a person is expecting the handle to need to go further down and we'll end up breaking this if I don't resolve it.

Unacceptable

Great door handle

I’ve had many Kwikset handles before, but never the Signature line, mostly due to the price for 10-20 handles. Now I see why they’re more. This handle is beautiful, rock solid and a great firm action I wasn’t expecting. It even held itself in place when installing so you don’t have to fumble trying to hold the two sides together and put the screws in. Easy to install and great grip!

Easy to install and looks great. This handle makes it easier to grab while I’m bringing up my laundry basket.

Only Tool Needed for Install is a #2 Phillips Head

Very easy to install. Very sturdy product. Has a very nice, tight, well put together feel when it opens and closes. The brushed nickel finish looks great. The new door handle was a little small and didn’t completely cover the footprint of the old door knob. Hint - you may need to adjust from 2 - 3/8” to 2 a 3/4” if things aren’t fitting together by popping the little marked tab on the piece you install in Step 1.

I love that this door knob was an easy install. I used it on my kitchen door that leads to my dinning room. The design of the handle, is a nice nickel finish. This handle could be used also as a closet door handle. It does not have a lock, so you need to make sure you get it for a door that doesn’t require a lock. (Closet door, pantry door, dinning room door or laundry room door).

High quality and heavy duty door handle

Really well made, very sturdy and easy to install. Took me about 5-10 minutes to get it installed. It is heavy duty. Really only took a screw driver to install in.
