This lock is a complete piece of garbage. It had so many problems and keeps breaking. There were so many issues with this lock. They included: 1 - Batteries died quickly and we had to replace the batteries every two weeks. 2 - The lock wouldn't respond to the app. We would unlock or lock it with the app and 90% of the time it wouldn't respond. Halo touchscreen
Just purchased this at Lowes on a Clearance. I've been needing an upgrade from my old keyless lock that I have had for 15+ years. I was hoping this was easy to install and setup on my WIFI network. I am glad to report installation and WIFI setup was incredibly easy. It seems to work as advertised. As with anything time will tell. Very well built. So far so good. One note: this lock is loud. When the motor engages you can definitely here it.

Great Lock
purchased and installation was easy. I did run into issue connecting to app because it kept saying device was already installed and to delete to connect I had to call support because i was unable to locate device and they helped me all the way through process and ensured everything connected and was working properly and informed me they were available 24/7. works great with both app and keypad and smart key rekey was easy to do.

Battery life is pathetic!!
I bought this lock about six months ago. I have already replaced the batteries 5 times. This is unacceptable. I install door hardware as a part time job for a construction company, so I know how to install door hardware. It was extremely easy to install. And I like how easy it is to rekey kwickset locks. But I would never recommend kwickset for keyless entry. And it is easy to miss the notification when the battery gets low.

Glitchy and lack luster bluetooth function
Very glitchy and runs through batteries like crazy. Bought this lock about a month and a half ago when we moved into our new house. We have used keypad deadbolts at all of our previous houses and loved them. Usually we have to replace the batteries once a year at most. Absolutely terrible lock. Jams frequently. Is very loud. And eats batteries for lunch. I would definitely items look elsewhere - I’ve had much better luck with other locks in the past and will be switching mine out for another brand. It’s sad as I have always trusted Kwikset.

Terrible durability and short battery life
We've had this for about 2 yrs at our farmhouse and it's only used about 20 cycles per month. But the exterior plastic touch keypad has peeled and degraded terribly. The battery life is terrible and requires changing them about every 3 months. I've used various Kwikset electric locks for about a decade and this is by far the least durable model I've ever had. I do not recommend it!

I have had 2 halo locks on my home for about 5 years. As others have mentioned, I too had issues with battery life, difficulty connecting for updates, frrquent jamming, and loud motor. I thought I was alone. I would not recommend. Hopefully, the newer models are much better for folks.
