I bought this twice so I'll review it twice; I reviewed this a few weeks ago mentioning that, same as many others, the knob falls off the door. I responded to Kwikset's comment and was told by the operator I'd be sending in a pic of my knob and choosing a new one. Installation overly complex, doesn't work well

I bought this to replace a similar Shlage product that lasted about 10 years. This was the 2nd time replacing the Shlage set, so I thought I would try Kwikset. Long story short, I returned the Kwikset and bought another Shlage. Installation of inside screws very difficult

I was replacing an existing door knob. Installation was going very well until I needed to attach the inside knob. Normally this is no problem but screws need to be attached to an inside part. I read the directions over many times but following them was very difficult. You need to twist counter-clockwise while push on the key level? Absolute nightmare

Everything was going well until step 5 where the screws have to catch. I am following the instructions and the screws seem to catch, yet the knob keeps coming detached as I tighten the screws. I thought I finally had it until I tested it and the knob came off completely. Either the set is faulty or the instructions are unclear/oversimplified. Problem with screws for the knob and the plate

The installation was not smooth since the provided screws for the knob were not the correct ones! I went back to Lowe's to see if I could just get the correct screws instead of another doorknob since the replacement might also have a problem with the screws. Great lock, easy to install and change keys

I’ve used several types of locks for houses and Kwikset has always been the best. The Smartkey locks are great because you don’t have to change the locks out, all you need to do it change the keys by setting the tumblers to fit a new key.
