Kobalt Kobalt 24-Volt 12-in Brushless Cordless Electric Chainsaw 4 Ah & Kobalt 24-Volt Max 24-in Dual Cordless Electric Hedge Trimmer (Battery Not Included)

Beginner and light work

Great electric saw for small circumference and doesn't drain too much battery. Was using it to teach my son operate and have him learning to wedge. He cut off about 20 small limbs around 2 to 3 inches and still had 1/2 battery life from a 4.0 extended. We both liked the weight, the tensioner design isn't the greatest but easy to use. He had a hard time tightening the chain after the 20th cut. Could be from rushing or pressuring down instead of letting it work. We've only used it 3 times but it h...

They should buy one for themselves

What I like about this handy little battery operated chainsaw is u can use it and don’t smell like gas and it is small enough and light enough to place it in my side by side and go through the woods to trim the overhanging branches. And it is light enough to carry the fence line around the mountain to trim the limbs off the fence

Kobalt Chainsaw

The chainsaw was incapable of cutting through even a 1-inch bush stem. It "chewed" it up and smoked terribly. Additionally, the chain kept falling off. I was unable to get my money back because I didn't open and use it (discovering that it's useless) within Lowe's 48 hour return policy.

poor after purchase sevice

purchased a kobolt battery operated chainsaw with battery and charger included, received today. the battery will not fully charge called customer service and was told that I would have to return everything for a refund. i asked why they couldn't just send me a new battery and i was told that it was sold as a kit...i already put the blade on and filled it with bar oil. I call that poor service.

The chainsaw comes with a battery and charger.

I thought it was funny that it didn’t come in an extra box because I bought that for a Father’s Day gift. Any knew what exactly was without me to be able to surprise him? Thanks Lowe’s for a funny jokes for my Father’s Day gift.

Frugal Compact Saw

I bought this saw Fall 2025 after I bought my home to clear up brush in my back year. It is good for brush like privet bush. I have cut things 6/8 inches, up to almost a foot in diameter, but a foot is guessing. With the 24 volt batter, I switch it between my weed deter, blower and saw. All three use the same battery. I would say for any thing a foot and below it can handle it, experts might have a more accurate opinion. Frugal Compact Saw

I am pleased

so far so good. Ive bought other ones in the past like four! and they kept blowing the chain and were dull. This has surpassed all of them, which makes me happy cause I need a chainsaw to do all my yard work for the house.

Garbage chain, bet China freight has better.

First time trying to use this, 30 seconds in the chain bent and now will not go into the bar track. In that 30 seconds chain BARELY cut anything... a sawzaw would cut a branch faster. I will now buy a decent quality chain that will actually cut. Lowes has failed here. Garbage.

good for small jobs

Overall, I would say it's a good saw. Chain saws a huskarna, 16 and 20 inch bar. And done more than a few cutting down trees. When I had a place down in Missouri period I am back up in Ohio. Now it needed a small saw to do some trimming. And cutting down small trees. This fits the bill and if you've already have cobalt twenty four vault tools, it is a good deal. The only problem I have with it is. It comes with only one for amp battery now, if you have other tools. Not a big deal, but it should ...

First-time Chainsaw User!

A couple of months ago, we had a terrible ice storm here in East Texas. We had a lot of large branches snap from the storm which left debris everywhere. I had many large branches in my yard from the storm, but I also had some small junk trees (as I like to call them) that had to go. The small trees had gotten too large to take care of with loppers, so it was time for me to invest in a chainsaw. I'm a 52 yr old single woman so a gas chainsaw was a bit too intimidating for me. I didn't want a plug...
