Faulty regulator

If not for the faulty regulator, this air compressor would be top notch. I had one regulator replaced under warranty because the knob comes loose. Air leaks because of the poor seal. The second regulator was just as bad if not worse. Look up the plethora of Youtube videos about this faulty regulator.

Great compressor for garage

Wife complained my old compressor was so loud . So she asked me If someone makes a quiet one buy it . Found this Kobalt shes happy how quiet it is ! It works great on air tools and paint guns great compressor!

Delivery damaged a 120lb plus compressor

Nightmare customer service over Live Chat!Ordered a 120lb plus compressor on sale, and it arrived damaged. Junk!!!!

I have had this compressor 2 years now it’s got to where tank had to be empty for it to start again but wait there’s more to start it you have to turn the switch on and spin the motor fins lol then it goes to 80 psi no more!!!! For what I paid for it was a rip off and I will post videos of what I have to do for this to work on Lowe’s website!!!! Stay away from this one guys!!!! Not a very good compressor.

This compressor threw a rod on the right cylinder about 8 months after we bought it. Thinking it was just a freak occurrence, I got it warranted and Lowe’s was good enough the replace it free with another new one. Guess what, the second one just started smoking from the compressor assembly so we immediately unplugged it so it didn’t catch fire and now we are faced with returning it as well. Some things you should know.

It's more quiet than other compressors I've used. It comes with automotive air chucks that are held in with red thread-lock, so you won't be able to change them. I've had to exchange it once due to a faulty pressure switch, which is also held on with red thread-lock. They aren't made to repair & you can't obtain parts for them. Twins!!

I already owned the identical one for 5 years. The Manifold Regulator failed, I ordered a new one from Lowes, the repair/replacement only took a few hours, now I have two working compressors. These compressors are a great to have on my place. I have one for the shop and another for the barn, now. If one goes down I have a fall back on hand. The new one was less expensive than the unit I got 5 years ago, very handy to have two. :)

Excellent Choice

I read some negative reviews about this and was nervous, but I needed something quick and big for my little barn shop. I bought this and I am delighted. This is pretty quiet for a air compressor and it not as of irritating of a noise as other ones. All my existing fittings fit on this one, and its heavy enough to not fall over but light enough I can easily move it around if I need to.

Poor choice for a compressor

I bought one of these compressors in 2018, and within a few months it failed. I returned it to Lowe's, and they replaced it with a new one in 2019. I don't expect any power tool to last forever, but when it DOES break down, I expect to be able to have it repaired or repair it myself.
