It works well for such a little guy, not too heavy. I just wish the handle height were adjustable for us shorties. I was shocked that the battery came seperately. I understand the charger coming seperately. But I would expect a product to cone ready to use out of the box.

Nice Weight
I bought this trimmer because the other trimmers were too long and weighed too much. I have a very small yard. The battery does not last long enough for me to finish my yard so I bought another one and 2 batteries still are not enough. This disappoints me, I would buy a professional trimmer but it appears that they are built for a tall strong man and not for a 5'6" woman.
NO REPLACEMENT PARTS
They do not and never did have replacement parts. If anything goes wrong on this be prepared to throw it away. Kobalt support is pointless and thought they put me on hold saying they would look while the rep just sat their joking with his buddy beside him wasting time then came back thinking he took me off hold and said I looked and we do not have that replacement part at this time. What a joke.

Horrible bump feed
battery life was pretty good. but the bump feed mechanism is awful, had to replace after a year with an offbrand from WM. and it lasted less than 2 months. trimming it was capable but not for edging.

Worthless Warranty
Worked fine for a few years of lite usage. Not a lot of trimming about 15-20 minutes every other week. During cutting season. Went to trim and pulled trigger nothing. Changed battery nothing. Switch bad maybe feels odd. Anyway can’t buy parts. Always use my Lowe’s account and it does not show my purchase but I know for certain I used it. Lowe’s says No receipt no warranty. Can't find parts
I upgraded most of my battery tools to Kobalt. I picked up one of these for my wife and she loves it. Tonight the head popped apart when she was using it and the 2 metal guides went flying. I found one of them and figured that I could find a replacement online. NOPE. We have a good tool with a lot of life left on it that is unusable at the moment.
