Great electric saw for small circumference and doesn't drain too much battery. Was using it to teach my son operate and have him learning to wedge. He cut off about 20 small limbs around 2 to 3 inches and still had 1/2 battery life from a 4.0 extended. We both liked the weight, the tensioner design isn't the greatest but easy to use. What I like about this handy little battery operated chainsaw is u can use it and don’t smell like gas and it is small enough and light enough to place it in my side by side and go through the woods to trim the overhanging branches. Garbage chain, bet China freight has better.
First time trying to use this, 30 seconds in the chain bent and now will not go into the bar track. In that 30 seconds chain BARELY cut anything... a sawzaw would cut a branch faster. I will now buy a decent quality chain that will actually cut. Lowes has failed here. Garbage.

Frugal Compact Saw
I bought this saw Fall 2025 after I bought my home to clear up brush in my back year. It is good for brush like privet bush. I have cut things 6/8 inches, up to almost a foot in diameter, but a foot is guessing. With the 24 volt batter, I switch it between my weed deter, blower and saw. All three use the same battery. I would say for any thing a foot and below it can handle it, experts might have a more accurate opinion. Frugal Compact Saw
