What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this zero-turn mower for exceptional cutting performance and time savings, with most noting it cuts grass in a single pass where previous mowers required two or more. Reviewers highlight the zero-turn design enables precise maneuvering and clean, even cuts. Many find it easy to operate after a brief learning curve, though some mention needing practice for optimal performance. Customers commend the rugged, well-built construction with welded steel components. A few report isolated mechanical issues like battery or belt problems, and some mention frustration with service experiences, but these represent a small minority. Overall, most consider it a reliable, durable investment.

When I ordered this zero turn mower, I researched close to three months. And let me say, there’s quite a few, all had good reviews, other had bad reviews. I decided on this John Deere cause I had a JD 42”rider for close to 11 years. Well placing this order was easy, but waiting for it is another issue. But when I chose my delivery date, this is where there is issues. First, I live in Berea KY, and I found out that the mower is coming from a Lowe’s in Lexington KY. My mower wasn’t delivered on th...

Never used before needing repair
Purchased over a week ago, got it home and it wouldn’t start. It’s at the John Deere repair shop under a warranty claim.

Great mower
Not only is the mower great, customer service was even better in replacing a different company that let me down less than 2 hours of use.

Great choice! We're glad to see you're staying within the John Deere family!
Waited a week & they sent a damaged floor model
•I LOVE THIS MOWER! JOHN DEERE GETS A BIG HI-FIVE! IT CHECKS ALL THE BOXES! •The Lowe’s dropped the ball on my personal requests about delivery, so they get a no-five! •I was promised a 4 day delivery of an (I specified) ‘non-floor’ model and after 7 days was delivered a floor model with signage attached all over it, a dead battery & no gas at all! (Thank goodness it was full of oil!) •I was notified delivery was delayed because it had to be assembled…..Hmmmm •Also, there are scrapes to the re...

What an ordeal
We can’t even write a review for how it works as the battery is completely dead - missing the bolts & nuts for the battery. They couldn’t find the manual or the key - so they had to take a key off of the shelf to give us. Scratches all over it. Some rusting underneath from being put in the weather. Will update once we get the battery charged. I feel like we should just return it and exchange for one not put together yet. Very disappointed so far.

Mediocre
Manual is pretty pathetic, not acceptable. As far as operating? Difficult at 1st, but you get the hang of it after a handful of passes. Mulch System that you have to buy extra is pathetic. Cub Cadet I had was so much easier. I bought this because I have a JD Dealer near me, I have a feeling I'll have to use them. I don't think the controls are at all linear, barely touch the forward controls and it just takes off, difficult to control, even though it gets better with more time at the controls.. ...
Sold me a broken mower.
I purchased this John Deere mower and they never loaded it up because the mower had a broken key hole. Was told they would have a new assembled one for me. Called that next Monday and was told to call Tuesday. Called Tuesday and was told that mower never got assembled. Then was told it would definitely be ready Thursday. Called Thursday and still no assembled mower. Was told various times that my purchased mower would be first to get assembled. They assembled other mowers for display and didn’t ...
Excellent Zero-Turn Mower - Excellent Customer Ser
I bought this mower a few weeks ago from the Lowe's in Dover, Delaware. I've only used the mower twice and have not had any issues at all. Part of the reason for this review (which I seldom do) is that our salesperson, Chuck, was absolutely excellent! He didn't even work in the department but saw my wife with that puzzled look on her face and asked if she needed any help. By the time I joined the conversation, Chuck had fully informed my wife on everything we felt we needed to know. He ne...

Great mower!
The mower is amazing! Delivery was when they said. The only reason for 4 stars is we were told it would be filled with gas at delivery and it wasn’t.
