When I was paying for the mower, I told the clerk that since the mower has been sitting outside for a while, I want it brought in, cleaned up, and the battery fully charged. worked less than 6 months

I bought the protection plan which I did not EXPECT to use this fast. Stopped moving forward or reverse, then it would move then stop. could SMELL BURNING. Then front left tire went flat no sign of anything in it. Call the Protection plan and so for TWO days have past and still no call back on getting it fixed. I used to think John Deere was a good brand...

This machine is very overpriced for the poor quality it is. It has intermittent starting issues and hardly any power going up hills. The tires frequently spin and are unable to get any traction, even on dry grass. Despite this being a brand new machine, because i didnt get to try it within 48 hours of it being delivered, and thus unable to ensure it works properly within that short time frame, I am unable to return it. Good mower

May be a little too early for a review, but I’ve used it twice. Runs very well and handles fantastic. I’m surprised at the turning radius. Much better than my old Craftsman. I do like the hydrostatic transmission. Makes it easier to adjust the speed while mowing.

My first riding mower

Bought this mower from Lowes after researching several brands and retailers. My purchase went smoothly and mower was delivered 2 days later as promised. Mower arrived looking brand new (as it should) and was ready to go except having to have gas tank filled. This replaced a 20" push mower to cut a 1/2 acre lawn. I have only used it twice thus far, but it performs and cuts as expected. Looking forward to many years of service.

Lowes does not stand behind the mowers they sell

Bought this item on April 11, 2026. It worked great the first few times I used it. On May 9, it started making a clanking noise and cutting uneven. I had bought the extended warranty, so I called the Farmington, MO Lowes to get it serviced. They told me I had to call the extended warranty place, even though it had not been 30 days since I bought the mower. I bought an S110 after owning a D110 for 12 years. Upon delivery, all looked fine (the fuel gauge showed empty). When I filled the fuel tank, gauge still registered “empty”. I jiggled it a bit and noted that the gauge was not attached to anything. The lever is supposed to be semi attached to piece that fits over the frame. I own about an acre of land and needed a good riding lawnmower. I know people who have bought several off-brand mowers (my opinion) and he’s had a lot of trouble. Growing up my grandfather had a John Deer that lasted beyond his ability to do that kind of work. So John Deer was the only mower for me.
