Great mower.

The purchase process was pretty simple, I placed an order through the app and within four days the mower was delivered to my home. I’ve seen several reviews saying that the units arrived scratched up or scuffed up, that was not the case for me. My mower arrived in pristine Condition and had everything it was supposed to have like spare key and Owner manual. My only gripe is that whoever assembled the mower out of the crate over inflated the tires on all four corners to double what is recommended...

Cut mowing time in half.

We have owned this mower for 3 mos—-it is easy to operate and very clean cut. We live on 3.5 acres and it’s about an hour to mow ( was close to 2 on traditional riding mower with 54” deck ) with 60” deck. My only complaint is that for the price it’s a rough ride due to lack of suspension, if your yard is truly flat no issue, but our property was farm ground prior to sub division and it will be a while before it’s flat. Great Zero turn mower

After the craftsman mower mowed its last lawn, I had a lawn service mow the rental properties and after damage to the chain link fence and new gates and paying them for the service for the season, I decided to purchase this mower and take care of the lawns again. With mowing five properties, front and back with the craftsman it took 4 1/2 hours. Now it takes 1 hour and twenty minutes to mow all properties totaling over two acres of grass. 1st zero turn

I have owned a couple of JD commercial grade rider mowers. I loved them. This is the first zero turn from JD. I must say it is a good product. I went to a zero turn because of my disability. I have trouble with my legs and found it harder to get on a rider. The zero turn is much easier to get on. This mower cuts clean and is very easy to drive. I did have to adjust the controls. I am 6'2" 330 lb I would like to see the arms taller.

It is a "hoss"!

It was difficult not to give the mower five stars, but the mower is not perfect. It is a very good mower. My neighbors have zero-turn mowers and my John Deere will outperform all. It is quieter and the ride is more comfortable. Evey neighbor commented on how quiet the mower performed. I let a friend mow some on my lawn and his comment was that, "It is a hoss"!

These Machines Are Not What They Used To Be

My first John Deere was a 2011 Z425. That machine was amazing - built to last and super tough. To say that this new series is a poor comparison is almost too generous. I'm so disappointed with it, and it will likely be the last John Deere I ever buy. Everything about the build and body of this machine seems cheaper than in the past. Terrible quality mower and accessories.

Terrible quality. I bought a john deere for the name and quality that it stood for. Unfortunately, I have owned this machine for a year and have to take it back to the dealer again. The machine cuts well, but has many mechanical issues. I also bought the bagger which was very expensive. The bagger is also poor quality and have plastic pieces on it that have already broken.

More plusses than minuses.

Purchased a month ago with bagger. We have about 7 hours on the mower now. My yard has never looked so good after mowing. The bagger is easy to empty. I was worried it would be too heavy but by using two separate bags, the weight is very manageable for me as an "older" woman. I previously had a Hustler mower without a bagger. Perfect zero turn for my property

I haven’t owned a mower since the 80’s. Preferred to hire a service. In 2018, we moved to a 3.6 acre property with about two acres of lawn with some hills. I retired in October and decided it was time to buy a zero turn. After looking at a few brands and models, I setting on the Z530M with 48” deck. Dealer gave me a great end of season price. Looks to be made well.

NEW; Time will tell on how well this machine will hold up. I have had another brand since 2008 that gave me very little trouble, but today The new version is not as well made as the old zero turn. I chose the Deer because of the build quality and hope it will last. Time will tell on the quality and the work I get from JOHN DEERE to maintain this lawn mower.
