What Customers Are Saying
The Insinkerator hot water dispenser is a convenient product that quickly heats water for various kitchen tasks. Many users praise its ease of use and sleek design. However, some have experienced issues like leaks and the need for frequent part replacements. While the high cost of replacement parts and short lifespan are concerns, the majority of customers find the dispenser to be a valuable kitchen addition that saves time.

horrible, horrendous, don't do it. You purchase the unit and then unbeknownst to their retailers, dealers you have to purchase the dispenser. However, none of the colors or styles match my faucet and soap dispenser. Never again. Buy another brand, or you will end up with hodge podge on your countertop

Opt for a different model!!!
I ordered this faucet as a part of a kitchen remodel. Upon installation, the faucet began leaking immediately. I contacted Insinkerator and their customer service was wonderful to send me a replacement model as well as to pay for a local plumber to install it. Upon receiving the second unit, it immediately started to leak as soon as it was installed so the plumber unplugged everything. Again, Insinkerator customer service was wonderful and followed through with the plumber's advice to help me up...

Nice instant hot water dispenser.
This hot water dispenser is a direct replacement for an identical one that has lasted almost 15 years. It is very convenient to use, and looks was easier to mount on our granite counter top than I had thought it would be.

return process is terrible.
Lowes on-line return site is completely non-functional for this on-line purchase; the telephone “assistance” is of no help either as they cannot authorize a return. Will have to drive 1/2 hour each way to return

Replaced tank (2nd time) now handle leaks
We've owned this product for six years and replaced the original tank at 4 years (it leaked, we paid the entire replacement/labor cost) and again at 6 years (tank leaked exactly as the first one did, ISE did replace the second faulty tank for free with a newer model but would not pay installation labor unless I gave up my three-year warranty on the new tank). Now that the new tank is installed, the faucet leaks at the base of the handle when opened in the full stream position. It doesn't leak in...

Great Product, but limited life span and expensive to replace.
We love this whole set-up, but the tank on the heater is made of some sort of poor material and starts leaking about every 5-6 years. This is our third water heater and we love it while it works. It does seem to us that the manufacturer could make the tank out of some material that would not break down so quickly. After all, our general household water heater was just replaced after 35 years of service without a leak and it worked well the whole time. Our plumber says that these products used to...

This product drips
I'm having a dripping problem with our brand-new faucet and can't figure out why? It started dripping a few days after installing it then after a trying a trouble shooter tip if stopped. Now 2months later its dripping again. Unfortunately, the trouble shooter suggestions aren't stopping it this time and I'm frustrated. It's a nice feature so I don't want to give it a bad review but it's terrible I'm having this problem with a new faucet!

Who can live without instant hot and filtered cold water?
We have had this Insta-hot&cold since we built our home 12 years ago. This is our third unit. The only downside is the hard water deposits collect over time and the whole top unit has to be replaced. The bottom heater we replaced once due to a leak. The unit comes with the tool you need, but getting under your sink and up behind it is a pain. It is a DIY for those that know how to use a tool, but not for everyone. Took us 20 minutes to swap and 10 minutes to move the under sink contents. It may ...

Overall good but started leaking
Had this recently installed by a plumber and within a few months, the faucet started leaking. It was intermittent at first and now seems to be more consistent. Tried all the troubleshooting advice and it still leaks! This is extremely frustrating as my family & I really enjoyed the ease of getting hot water without waiting for a kettle to boil. I feel this might be a defective faucet which is a shame because overall, this is such a good product. Feel rather disappointed as the whole system was e...

Glad to have our hot water dispenser again.
We've had an instant hot-water dispenser (by Insinkerator) in our kitchen for many years. It is a very convenient way of having near-boiling water for tea, or other uses, without the time-delay that it takes to fill a kettle and wait for the water to boil. When our last one wore itself out, we learned that it wasn't repairable, and the model and style (and colour) was discontinued. We had to find a dispenser that we could get that was white. And there weren't too many options. So we went with t...
