I tried to talk my son out of a husqvarna product. He had to have it and now regrets buying it. He cuts 1.5 acers and it looks like the middle blade is adjusted higher than the outside blades. It is impossible to adjust the deck high enough for hot summer height.now his lawn is uneven and brown. My tractor with a 60" deck does a better job. What I'm saying is do your research and go with john deer. Better service and quality.

Deck belt issues
Now on my third year with this mower. I have changed the deck belt 5 times, (2 OEM and 3 aftermarket). First two times I adjusted belt tension per operator's manual. The aftermarket belts were a bit longer and seem to last longer but failed just the same. Due to the longer belts, I had to adjust tension on the belt to compensate. Mine was delivered 2 days ago and I cut my 2 acres immediately. After a week and a half of rain almost every day, and not being able to mow, the grass was high and thick. Poor quality - Constant Repairs
NOTE** Review won't allow photos - but I documented everything. Owned this same mower for the past 4 years. I've done all required maintenance (oil, filter, air filter, clean gas, greasing blade spindles, cleaning, etc). Year 1: Issue: Battery died. Stock blades became dull and warped cutting normal grass, on flat 2 acre yard. Use: ~ 60-75 hours cutting grass no higher than 6-7 inches. Maintenance required: Replace battery. New blades. Happy that I stepped up to the 248XD
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my HUSQVARNA TS 248XD a year ago from a local dealer and am very happy so far. I have about an acre and a half of lawn with some slopes. Stepping up to the 248XD was totally worth it to me for the three-blade fabricated deck and the brush guard. I really like the floating deck with anti-scalp wheels; my lawn looks like a golf course now. As some have said, the cutting deck is loud (you’ll want hearing protection), but very powerful....

Love the riding mower.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was not crated well, the truck driver said due to the crate being broken and falling apart that there is small tear in the seat. The brush bar had to be installed and was not that difficult for me, but some would have trouble with it. Runs great, and does not get stuck due to the limited slip differential. The mowing deck is much better that a "stamped" deck.

I just purchased the mower the first part of July and very disappointed.I cannot get this morwer adjusted properly and it scalps my yard and cuts uneven. It makes an awful mess with grass blowing all over the place when the mulching kit is on. It plugs up underneath the deck and collects grass under the deck and is a real mess when I am done.
