This new one gets the job done satisfactorily but I miss the power steering, and it uses more gas than the old one. Getting to the oil drain plug is just as hard as on the old one too.

Not what I expected. Never again.
I’ve never had as much bad experience with a new mower as I’ve had with this thing. I gave it a full season of use before reviewing. I thought I did my due diligence in spending the extra money on this brand. Mistake. This mower currently has less than 50 hours on it from one season. After about 15 hours of use, the engine started stalling out for no apparent reason. It would take minutes of trying to restart to eventually come to life again, belching black smoke. I don't know if my old mower was just in that bad of shape, but this new mower is so quiet when it starts. I've only cut the grass with it one time so far, but I absolutely love this new tractor. The Kawasaki engine is of top quality with the newer-made engines. It runs like a dream. The turn radius is much tighter than my old mower. plenty of HP to climp the steeper hill...

Fast and powerful!

Check your machine over before you take ownership
The date that the mower was supposed to be delivered by came and went. I called the store and was asked if they would put it together or did I want to? I said that was not an option on the online order form, I expected to pick up a tractor ready to mow with. It was a week later that I received the email that it was ready for pick up. Great Start with New TS148X
This mower was ordered online last week as a replacement for an old riding mower with similar capabilities. Today’s delivery to my home from the Lowe's store in Palestine, TX was great thanks to Bill H. the delivery driver. I appreciate his efforts to get this one to me in perfect condition, still in the factory shipping crate the way I wanted it. Your site is a bit difficult to navigate and easily connect with a "Chat person". When I finally found the link, where the "I'm Done" prompt, I assumed whenI would click on it, it would send my question. It immediately closed out the chat area. I wasn't able to get back to it. Best lawn mower I've ever had

After mowing, noticed how smooth it ran and very comfortable. great ride and very smooth operation. Very Satisfied, looked at several mowers and chose due to comfort, and ease of fueling, access to battery and oil filter.
