Nice looking fan. Was excited to find a 3 blade fan with pull chains. Just short of having it 2 years, the medium and low settings suddenly quit while the fan was running and the fan switched itself to high speed. Now it only runs on high. At this point, I've had enough issues with Hunter fans that I can't imagine buying another. It's a shame what's happened to this brand over the years.

Great fan + some installation tips
I have 3 of these fans in different rooms. It looks great and moves a decent amount of air quietly. After a year, one of the fans had an issue with the motor and Hunter sent me a replacement via warranty - so good customer experience there! JUNK and Hunter customer service isn't able help
If you purchase a pair of hunter fans to go in the same room don't expect them both to work out of the box. Then, don't expect hunter to be able to help as they will tell you they no longer make this fan (but why is it still available on this site...) and that their only resolution is to offer you to pick out a totally mismatched fan from the other one which just isn't a resolution. Bought 3 before I got 1 that worked
I installed 2 with aftermarket controllers and the three speeds were medium, medium, and low. A year later just as the warranty was running out a nearby lightning strike changed them and one fan suddenly started working correctly. The fan is beautiful and well made. The price can't be beat for a wet rated outdoor fan. The parts are weather proof, and there are gaskets everywhere to prevent water intrusion. So why only 3 stars? I’ve been installing this outdoor fan for the last 8 hours. Still not complete. This is probably the worst design I’ve ever worked with. Try lining up three screws through a jumble of wiring. If you are lucky enough to get one, you’ll surely loosen the entire fixture trying to get the other as to lock into position you have to turn counter clockwise. Quality fan - HORRIBLE Install
This fan looks great, operates well, runs quiet, and can really cools down a room! However, the install for this fan is absolutely horrible! I do a decent amount of self-home installation projects and this was by far the worst. Spent 2 hours+ in trying to get the light to hang properly. Genuinely horrible design. Doesn’t look or hold any better than any other fan either. I have installed many ceiling fan and this one stuck out as the most complicated, least user friendly design.
