After assembly and installation I saw that one of the metal bars that connect to the lights was crooked at a 45-90 degree angle. After many calls to customer service to both Lowe’s and Hunter, The manufacturer did not have the part or the fan in stock, nor did they know when those parts would be in, to send us a replacement. My wife and I bought this 3 years ago for our living room. loved the look and the fact it was a Hunter......boy were we wrong. The fan is stuck on high, so whenever we have it on it's on high. My wife loved the design so we spent a good amount extra to get this fan. The lights went bad after few years it was the power limiter, this is a known issue with hunter fans. Hunter customer services is terrible the worst I have ever seen. They make you jump through hoops checking everything under the sun for nothing when they know the whole time it is the the limiter. Makes our cabin a lodge!

In building our cabin in the woods in Upstate NY, it became apparent that we needed 3 fans for proper cooling and heating. We had to accommodate a cathedral ceiling with a 45 degree pitch, a loft with 7.5 foot ceiling and an open area over a catwalk and exit door. Installed two of the Hunter Adirondack fans into a solid wood beam. Three of the provided wood screws broke during installation. All three breaks were at exactly the same place on the screws (just above the threads) suggesting a flaw. For installations into wood, this could cause the fan to fall.
