We have only used this 3 times it seems to wash the clothes well. It did seem to get off the program twice which meant we had to unplug from the wall, wait a few minutes then plug in again and push the button for fill.

I received the product and I installed it like I've done every one I've ever owned. This one came with a cap on the drain port as the drain hose they now leave up to the installation instead of pre-mounted. When I took the cap off water poured out. Brand new washers aren't supposed to have water in them already. I purchased this Hotpoint Washer because of it's reputation. The moment it was installed it has not worked properly. The first load of wash the machine worked well. It seems technology now manufactures washing machine for the main goal of saving water.
