Thermostat works as expected, but is controlled by a different app then my existing Honeywell wifi thermostat. The new app works fine, but just looks much worse than the TCC app which controls older Honeywell thermostats. The fact that they have not integrated all of their thermostats into a single app is really disappointing.

Great thermostat once everything was wired correct
I’m very happy with this thermostat now that everything is set up correctly. At first, we had some issues—but that turned out to be due to wiring problems with our system, not the thermostat itself. Easy install, semi-easy setup
The installation was a breeze, the wires were essentially “plug and play”. The only challenging part was the setup portion. Make sure you know your home system in order to answer all the technical questions. Also, the included manual isn’t comprehensive so I had to google the full manual in order to set up my desired features (e.g., auto mode).

Decent thermostat but not as easily modified as I would want. The device is not capable of understanding that it’s connected to a heat only system. Programming option should exist to remove the “cool” function entirely when connected to a furnace or other heat only system. Changing between modes is no-existent except by schedule. This is a nice thermostat. I have little problem with its operation. However. The fact that online runtime data lags 2-3 days is not good. To see from posts on the internet that it’s been going on for years in laughable, considering that Resideo keeps asking for feedback yet refuses to get their device up to 2026 speed.

Administer home temp from afar!
Easy to connect to WiFi and program by individual days or set up the program for all week. Via app, monitor temp in the house, change the system from heat to cool, and change the temperature setting. Also can easily remotely put the thermostat on vacation mode, and your preferred vacation temp. Easy to install, especially if the previous thermostat was a Honeywell (I just plugged it into the existing Honeywell panel, without having to deal with wiring).

Best Bang for the buck.
Inexpensive and works great at the Thermostat, but the APP doesn't control all aspects of the thermostat. It really needs user control with parameters, so that you could allow your child to bring the temperature down or up, at a limited degrees and interval.
