The thermostat does everything it says it does. Just know some of the settings are buried in a menu that isn't mentioned in the quick-start guide. Have to go download the full manual from the website to find everything. After that, it works great.

Not a real Honeywell
This is not what is advertised. This thing is junk. It’s a rebranded piece of junk. It’s really a “first alert” thermostat. First alert as in smoke alarms. The app is worthless. Zero features. It is a minor upgrade from a simple digital thermostat and a huge downgrade from the last Honeywell I had. This thermostat uses the first alert app. Not the Honeywell home app

Decent, not the best.
Decent thermostat but not as easily modified as I would want. The device is not capable of understanding that it’s connected to a heat only system. Programming option should exist to remove the “cool” function entirely when connected to a furnace or other heat only system. Changing between modes is no-existent except by schedule. If I am home during a time I am normally away, I should be able to tap “home” and override the schedule. This thermostat does not allow for that and either requires mo...

Using a few of these on different systems in our facility, from an in-floor heating system, to a couple of forced air systems, and a multi-stage (floor heat and forced air) and they seem to work exactly as advertised.
