Great Microwave!

The Hisense 1.7-cu ft over-the-range microwave is genuinely beautiful and adds such a clean, modern look to the kitchen. It cooks food evenly and thoroughly, which has been a huge upgrade from our old microwave. The only challenge was installation. It wasn’t impossible, but it definitely took some effort for me and my husband. You’ll get a legit arm workout holding it in place. Once it’s up, though, it’s a great appliance that works really well and looks even better.

Under oven light is way too dim!

We haven't used it yet, but immediately realized the light under it is way too dim to be much use! And the bulb must be glued in the socket, because I couldn't remove it to see if a brighter bulb could be substituted.

Door spring latch

My spring door latch tip broke off as well this past week. middle of evening heard a pop while not in use. I experienced the same issue as review submitted from Jbiel ,Feb 12,2024. Quote "Not available anywhere. It is a common problem that this item fails, yet they do not offer a replacement part. So for a 6 inch piece of plastic, I will be forced to buy a new microwave.. it will not be a hisense!" . My exact experience.

Lasted under a year

I purchased this microwave mid november of 2023 and it burned out first week November 2024 so luckily for me was under manufacture warranty but for 250 on sale I expected it would last longer. While it worked it did exactly as intended, fan worked well and lights were bright but for me it didn’t last so switching to lg as I’ve had best luck with that brand.

No parts available

Plastic tit that holds spring for door latch broke. (Poor design). Unassembled door, removed latch, tried to order new one, it is not available frome , hisence or their oem distributor. Not available anywhere. It is a common problem that this item fails, yet they do not offer a replacement part. So for a 6 inch piece of plastic, I will be forced to buy a new microwave.. it will not be a hisense!

Not happy at all

Nothing I have not got it yet when they came with the first one it came damaged now I’m waiting on the second one to come the replacement. The man went back to pick it up. They didn’t have one ready for me so I’m still waiting.

Wrong Dimensions

Returned unit because the dimensions shown in the drawing are wrong. It is not 15.4" in height and 16.42" deep. It is 16.42" in height and 15.4" in depth. This was reported in an earlier comment but the manufacturer didn't believe them. The dimensions in the drawing are flipped.
