This is the first time I've had a ceiling fan delivered to me by mail. I was a bit worried and preparing myself for missing pieces, scratches etc. I was relieved when the fan came quickly and after inspection it was in excellent condition, all parts accounted for. Installation is a 2-person job. I don't know of anyone that could do it on their own but I'm sure there are. It was probably about a 30 minute job. They do look nice on the porch but little air

Installed 2 of them on side porch, yes they do look nice. we like the leaf like blades. If you actually want air movement then these I would NOT recommend. I ran them blowing down, can barley feel any air. I reversed them to blow up, and since I close mounted them to the porch ceiling, sitting by the house wall on the porch I can feel a small breeze. Beautiful fan

This fan is beautifully made. It's made with good quality parts and puts out a good breeze. I was using two stand up fan before installing this. I don't have to use them anymore and I couldn't be happier. The installation took about an hour and a half and the instructions were pretty straight forward. Don't count on Lowe's customer service

After getting the first of two fans installed on my back screened porch, we discovered the first fan had a 6 in downrod and the second fan had a 4 in downrod and broke globe in the bottom of box. We returned the fan in box,buy no more avalable online or in any stores near us. We ended up driving further to a store that had a few but all packed with 4 in downrod and Lowe's doesn't sell 6 in. Fan is nice, BUT!

We installed two of these fans in our three season room. The fan itself is great, wood blades, colors, features, etc. We also bought 2 Harbor Breeze Off-White Handheld Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control, because we needed the receiver for the each fan. The problem is that the fans either lose the sync with the remote, or the remote is not functioning properly.
