This fan is NOT flush mount!
It is listed as “flush mount” in some places on the website and as “close mount” in others and Lowe’s stupid Milo AI lists it as flushmount; it is not! The housing is inches from the ceiling even when NOT using the included down rod. Therefore this fan does not cover the old paint marks from a traditional flush mount fan and may not be what you want for lower ceilings. I was happy with my purchase when I first installed the fan. The fan also looks nice and the high speeds provides a lot of air flow. However, I installed it in the winter so it wasn't being used regularly.
