The fan was simple to install. We used an 18" downrod because it was going into a vaulted ceiling. On low the fan is rock solid with minimal noise. On high the fan has an unusual buzz sound and there is vibration. We run this particular fan on low (just to get the heat out of the ceiling vault).

I ordered this to replace a fan in the living room. Anytime the fan is running, I can hear the motor. I’m very sensitive to tedious noises so this absolutely drives me crazy. Would not recommend.

Nice light, fan doesnt work
We had an electrician install this and despite all of his attempts to troubleshoot it, the fan will not turn on. Only the light functions. We are beyond disappointed to not only have a fan that doesn't work, but to have to buy another fan and pay for an additional install.

Love the look but it’s not very bright

The blades are sturdy and the glass is thick which makes it a great quality fan but my only “complaint” is it’s not very bright with only 2 bulbs (even though they’re 60w). Easy to install and great quality
Looks great, works great, and was easy to assemble for a first timer never having installed a fan before (and I did it by myself!) lowes also has this Dan cheaper than other sites I found it on, by a significant margin. The fan itself runs very smoothly, and makes no noise or rattling (if you install it correctly). My only gripe is it doesn’t come with a remote, although I have the fan and the light kit set to separate switches which makes it easier. I just like having a fancy fan remote.

Good looking, quiet fan.
I've installed 3 of these fans so far in my house to replace noisy, mix n match fans from the previous owner. They install easily and all of them have been well balanced so no more rattling or rocking when the fan is going. I read some reviews mentioning a humming noise and I have not had that issue on any of mine. All of mine are wired to individual switches for the light and fan.

No Ceiling mount option, hangs a little low.
Got this on sale. Great looking fan & easy to install. I Don't like the fact it doesn't have the ceiling mount option. Hangs a little low for my liking, especially when my son in his room with the Facebook Oculus device on playing games. It has Plenty of airflow though. Was a replacement for my sons previous Harbor breeze fan.
