I should have inspected the contents for the box before starting the installation. when i got to the point where I removed the glass globe from the box and discovered that it was broken. I then had to remove all the parts I had installed then wait until the next day to return and receive another boxed fan. A waste of time and gas as the round trip was 10 miles with no compensation for my inconvenience. Other than that, I am happy with the now installed fan.

OK Ceiling Fan
It is a pretty fan but soon after we put it up the bulb cover cracked. Then one week later one light bulb went out. I wish that I would've picked another ceiling fan. I went to Lowes to get another bulb cover and neither one that they sold fits the fan. The lighting is definitely not bright enough for me.

Fan blade color not as pictured or described
I am disappointed in the “toffee” color on the fan. It is definitely not toffee more of a walnut! Not even close to what is pictured. Do you have any replacement blades that are more of a “toffee” color? I purchased 3 fans for my bedrooms and they are way too dark. Unfortunately my contractor installed them before I saw the color was wrong! I have attached photos. The 3rd photo is what was shown on the box and the color I expected!

I love the look and finish of this fan! I ended up using the black side of the fan blades instead of the wood grain side, (which is what the initial plan was but the wood grain didnt match as well as i thought), and ended up liking the all black fan way more then i thought i was going to. Its a very sleak simplistic look which is what i was going for and im very happy with it. Deceiving Package labeling
Fan is labeled remote ready. However, fan doesn't contain remote receiver. This means you need to buy a remote with receiver. You are at the same cost as buying a fan with remote when all is said and done. Called Lowes and was on with customer service for an hour and they didn't have an enough information to inform me remote ready just means that it is compatible for use with a universal remote. Coastal Creek Ceiling Fan Nice ceiling fan installed as a replacement fan. It was mounted onto our existing well braced metal ceiling fan box. My brace is a 2X4 cross brace I cut and installed between the rafters in the attic years ago. I drilled holes in the metal box and secured it to the brace with 3 or 4 pan head screws.
