Great Ceiling fan replacement. Quiet and very clean looking. Low setting is adequate to feel air moving. We bought an 18" black downrod because the 18" Bronze downrod (Bronze color) did not match...Bronze is not Bronze, make sure you look first.

This is a 42” fan that is made for a room or an office, not for a large room such as a living room or open concept kitchen. That being said, it moves quite a bit of air for its size. I've had one of these for years and loved it enough I bought 2 more when they were back in stock! I love the black finish and the fact that it takes an actual light bulb (as opposed to an integrated non-replacable LED that seems to be the style these days) and more than that a globe large enough to fit MOST A19 size bulbs. All that with a black finish that looks great!

I'm moderately handy and I wanted to improve my diy skills by installing this on my own. So I would rate this a 7 in terms of difficulty with 1 being extremely difficult and 10 being very easy. We installed this ceiling fan in our basement bedroom, which is primarily a workout room. Previously, we used a box fan for circulation and we had a builders grade light fixture.
