I purchase this fan for its smart-home capabilities. I was quickly disappointed. Pros 1. Good air flow. Fans moves a lot of air. 2. App seems to work. Decent remote fan, NO Google/Alexa connectivity
This is a decent low-profile remote controlled ceiling fan with an integrated LED light fixture (can be replaced, but no bulb replacement...which could become an issue in the future if compatible replacements are discontinued). It's a bit tricky on how to make this work with my google home. Just like the how other smart plugs function. 1. both fan and my cellphone has to be connected to the same 2.4Ghz network 2. on the andriod phone, download FansIO app 3. launch the fansio app, add device, select Lighting > Ceiling Fan(Wi-Fi) 4. turn on, off, on, off, on the light. Reviews don’t lie
I was in love with the looks of this fan so I blew off the reviews! Well as all other bad reviews mine stopped working out of the blue also, it is like the remote stops responding to the fan, we spent several hours googling, tried new batteries, tried to re sync, took the fan apart to make sure no wires have come disconnected, ect… I have had $50 fans last a lifetime so at the price point of this fan it was very disappointing for it to become useless win a little over a year!! Not recommend to nobody

Perfect Bedroom Ceiling Fan
We bought this attractive airy and modern looking fan for our master bedroom about 18 months ago. The installation was easy and we love the home automation integration. I can whisper to Alexa in the dark to turn the fan higher or lower. I don't understand the negative reviews as this fan is gorgeous and absolutely silent.

Simply will not pair to 2ghz WiFi and this renders it not a Smart Device. I wired all my switches in a remodel to be controlled through Alexa, and I left my ceiling fan power only thinking I'd buy at smart fan. This was a horrible try. There isn't a YouTube video showing how to get the device into pairing mode, and it is fruitless to tryyand turn the device on and off three times.
