This is a great looking ceiling fan. There was a problem with the operation of it. I was never able to get the remote to function without being on a ladder right next to the antenna. I spoke with the maker of this product and explained what the problem was and thought that I may need to get a new remote. Very modern design

I found the installation very straight forward with the enclosed instructions easy to follow. The fan has two different installation options, flush mount or with a drop rod. You also have two choices of fan blade design. One feature that I had a little trouble while installing was the remote control box. This has to be mounted between the terminal box and the fan itself. Remote disfunction

This is a pretty good looking fan. Other than some annoying sloppy manufacturing/fit with the blade arms (see picture), the worthless remote kit and ugly screws protruding from the canopy, it's quite nice. It runs quiet and does the job. The lousy remote kit is unforgivable, though. First, it shouldn't even need a separate receiver. Beautiful Ceiling Fan with Modern Finishes

This Harbor Breeze ceiling fan was super easy and straightforward to install. No issues on the install whatsoever. It fits snug against the ceiling and the length from the ceiling is perfect. The finishes on the fan is high quality and gives off a luxury feel. I love the brass and matte black colors. Nice looking fan

This ceiling fan was easy to install and looks nice. I installed it at the top of the stairs where it's on two switches. I was worried that wouldn't work with one remote and I thought I'd have to bypass the remote to use the switches to turn the light on and off. We really like this fan. Fairly easy to install and the remote was perfect for our need. The room has two entry doors but the fan/light switch is only at one door. We mounted the remote by the door we use most often and it is much more convenient. We decided that we did not like the gold finish on the blades, so we painted them black before installing. I was happy until the power went out and after it came back on the remote no longer worked...whole reason for buying the fan. Clean & Modern

Replaced older style light with this more modern design. Instructions and labeling was good as well as very few loose parts to install. Went up very quick, about 90 minutes. Two blade wood tones to choose from. Attaching blades was a little tough once hung, work upside down with small screws. If able, attach blades prior to hanging if able to do wiring with blades on. Expect to fix a lot of things

The canopy screw holes and ceiling fixture mount holes do not align There is no way to mount it flush on ceiling Called harbor breeze and these parts are not in stock Have unpacked the whole thing and have to return it if the parts don't show up soon. My son also got one and his unit wobbles a lot at the highest speed. We tried balancing it and does not work. Very poor quality.

Good Fan.

Overall, this is a nice fan. It is well made. Assembly is not overly complicated but is a handful when trying to do it solo. The canopy is very small so it will not cover a larger type junction box. This 52' model moves a sufficient amount of air to make it worthwhile. This unit is reversible for winter and summer use, but the direction switch is very inconveniently located on top of the motor unit. I do like the fact that the lighting is recessed.
