Fan is great 3 blade powerful and bright light. Paid for install via Lowe’s and after 2 different appointments cancelled by Lowe’s contracted Thumbtack app informing me that no installer can be located. Notification of both cancellation was done 2 hours prior to time that was previously confirmed. I got a refund for installation extra cost and magically I went directly to thumbtack and found someone to install fan the next day at a cheaper cost than what Lowe’s charged for installation.
DON’T LOSE THE REMOTE!
I’ve had this fan for 5 yrs and somehow lost the remote….Harbor Breeze does not offer replacement remotes. The compatible universal remote they suggested from Lowe’s ($40) requires you to take the fan apart on the ceiling and wire a sensor to the unit….ugh. I don’t have the skills…..and I paid for installation once….ugh!

Issues with remote
Other than the fan looking great and running great, the problem is with remote operation. Specifically, the Light button. I bought 2 of these and the problem is the same for both; the light does not always react to light button for on & off. Pressing the buttons for the fan - immediate reaction. I checked wiring, changed out old light switch at wall and I have "programmed" it dozens of times. operating the light from remote does not work.

Antennae/receiver not suited for standard install
We purchased three of these fan and light combos. We purchased the installation service. The products arrived fine. The contractor arrived as scheduled. Way too small
The Lowe’s website and the box say this fan is 52 inches. There is no way that’s true. This fan is way too small. I had someone install it while we were away and when I got home it was too late. What a disappointment! Is it too late to return?? It’s needs to be on the highest fan speed to feel any air because it was installed in a large room.

Good Breeze
the three fans gives off a good amount of breeze for its size. The one issue I do not like is how long you have to hold the button and wait for it to glow brighter before glowing dimmer; other models are much faster and more efficient.

This is a very reliable fan and we love the style. We put this same type of fan in all bedrooms throughout our house. We love the option of hardwiring the fan to a switch or using the remote.

Remote-only operation??
This is my first integrated LED fan with a remote. Can't say I'm a fan of this design. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer pull chains to a tiny plastic remote that can wander off or die. And as asked in other reviews, am I really supposed to just replace the whole fan when the LED module fails?
