bought this also to replace a perfectly good microwave to "update" for sensor cooking and smart features. heres the thing.... you also think think front is black. it is NOT. it is a mirror. thats not the worst part. i can get used to that, but.... it is so dark you CANNOT see your food cooking, melting, or its status while cooking even with the light inside on. furthermore, the smart features are a complete joke. you cant just ask alexa or google to cook x amount. it makes no sense. basically......
DISAPPOINTED
This has to be the most beautiful microwave ever made. It functions like a microwave should. BUT, I bought it for the description indicated the keypad was lit and all the pictures on-line made the 'blue' lettering appear to have a back light....NOT SO. At any rate, for the price which was deeply discounted, I am pleased with it. I just hope it outlasts the BOSCH that blew up less than 3 years after I bought it.

This is the ONLY over the range microwave that I could find that has a backlit keypad. Functions are easily visible in a dimly lit kitchen. Mirror finish across the central portion of the front and no visible door handle make it stylish and easy to clean. No interior light?
This microwave has only one flaw, the interior light is so dim that you can see anything cooking inside, so you can expect so boil overs. That said… I love the Bluetooth, WiFi and Alexa features. They work great. As my wife mentioned in her review, the mirrored glass front was a surprise, but it doesn’t bother me. This is an excellent microwave. Everything from the look to features is great. I really like the built in WiFi and it's smart features. That is the main reason why I purchased this model over all others. Initial pairing with the Smart HQ app was easy and I also connected it to Amazon Alexa which enables various voice control functions. space age microwave
Installation was easy, although I think the paper template included in the box was incorrect. The holes on the paper did not match the holes on the wall bracket. Good thing I checked before drilling! It is working very well so far, and connected up with Alexa easily. My only other complaint is that it is not very fingerprint resistant. Despite cleaning, it is already stained with fingerprints.
